Liliya Oprysnyk

Dr. Liliya Oprysnyk combineert twee specialismen die van nature bij elkaar horen: kindertandheelkunde en orthodontie. Daardoor kan ze een kind begeleiden van de allereerste consultatie soms zelfs vóór de eerste tand helemaal door de groei heen tot een afgeronde orthodontische behandeling.
Ze studeerde tandheelkunde aan de Universiteit van Valencia, specialiseerde zich nadien in pediatrische tandheelkunde aan de Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) in Barcelona en rondt momenteel haar master orthodontie af aan de Universiteit van Oviedo. Naast haar klinische werk gaf ze van 2018 tot 2020 les aan de UIC en deed ze wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar gedragsmanagement bij kinderen tijdens tandheelkundige behandelingen. Dat onderzoek werd gepubliceerd in het European Journal of Paediatric Dentistry (2021).
Haar aanpak is gebaseerd op preventie, geduld en vertrouwen. Ze werkt met bewezen gedragstechnieken van stapsgewijze gewenning tot afleiding en positieve bekrachtiging om ook angstige kinderen op hun gemak te stellen. Als moeder begrijpt ze wat ouders bezighoudt en wat een bezoek aan de tandarts voor een kind kan betekenen.
Voor orthodontische behandelingen werkt ze met beugels en transparante aligners (Invisalign, Spark). Ze is gecertificeerd in vroege mondgezondheid inclusief prenatale zorg, borstvoeding en zuigelingenvoeding.

Dr. Liliya Oprysnyk combines two specialisms that naturally complement each other: paediatric dentistry and orthodontics. This allows her to accompany a child from their very first appointment sometimes even before the first tooth appears all the way through growth and development to a completed orthodontic treatment.
She studied dentistry at the University of Valencia, went on to specialise in paediatric dentistry at the UIC in Barcelona, and is currently completing her master's degree in orthodontics at the University of Oviedo. She lectured at the UIC from 2018 to 2020 and conducted research into behaviour management in children, published in the European Journal of Paediatric Dentistry (2021).
Her approach is built on prevention, patience, and trust. She uses evidence-based behaviour guidance techniques from gradual desensitisation to distraction and positive reinforcement to help even anxious children feel at ease. As a mother herself, she understands what parents worry about and what a dental visit can mean for a child.
For orthodontic treatment, she works with fixed braces and clear aligners (Invisalign, Spark). She is certified in early oral health, including prenatal care, breastfeeding, and infant nutrition.

La Dr. Liliya Oprysnyk combine deux spécialisations qui se complètent naturellement : la dentisterie pédiatrique et l'orthodontie, permettant d'accompagner un enfant dès sa toute première consultation jusqu'à la fin d'un traitement orthodontique complet.
Elle a étudié à l'Université de Valence, s'est spécialisée en dentisterie pédiatrique à l'UIC de Barcelone et termine son master en orthodontie à l'Université d'Oviedo. Elle a enseigné à l'UIC de 2018 à 2020 et publié dans l'European Journal of Paediatric Dentistry (2021).
