Alina Andreea Pougia

Dr. Alina Andreea Pougia studeerde tandheelkunde aan de Faculteit Tandheelkunde van Boekarest en voltooide aansluitend een residency in kindertandheelkunde. Vandaag richt ze zich voornamelijk op restauratieve en esthetische tandheelkunde met bijzondere aandacht voor directe composietrestauraties, smile enhancement en minimaal invasieve technieken.

Ze volgde een jaar durende Esthetic Dentistry Masterclass in Nederland en nam deel aan internationale bijscholingen onder begeleiding van toonaangevende namen in moderne tandheelkunde, waaronder prof. dr. Paulo Kano en dr. Thiago Ottoboni. Die voortdurende vorming vertaalt zich in een aanpak die nauwkeurigheid en esthetisch inzicht combineert.

Haar behandelfilosofie is minimaal invasief: zo weinig mogelijk weghalen, zo goed mogelijk herstellen. Ze werkt met vergrotingssystemen en digitale workflows, inclusief intraoraal scannen, om resultaten te bereiken die zowel functioneel als esthetisch zijn. Ze behandelt zowel kinderen als volwassenen en past haar aanpak aan op de noden van elke patiënt.

Wat haar het meest aanspreekt aan het vak: de combinatie van precisie, creativiteit en zorg en de langdurige relaties die ze opbouwt met patiënten doorheen hun behandeltraject.

Dr. Alina Andreea Pougia studied dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry in Bucharest and subsequently completed a residency in paediatric dentistry. Today, she focuses primarily on restorative and aesthetic dentistry with a particular interest in direct composite restorations, smile enhancement, and minimally invasive techniques.
She completed a one-year Esthetic Dentistry Masterclass in the Netherlands and participated in international continuing education courses led by internationally recognised experts in modern dentistry, including Prof. Dr. Paulo Kano and Dr. Thiago Ottoboni. This ongoing training is reflected in an approach that combines precision with aesthetic insight.
Her treatment philosophy is minimally invasive: remove as little as necessary, restore as well as possible. She works with magnification systems and digital workflows, including intraoral scanning, to achieve results that are both functional and aesthetic. She treats children and adults alike, adapting her approach to each patient's individual needs.
What she values most about her profession: the combination of precision, creativity, and care and the long-term relationships she builds with patients throughout their treatment journey.
