Kosta Pougia

Dr. Kosta Pougia studeerde tandheelkunde aan de Carol Davila Universiteit voor Geneeskunde en Farmacie in Boekarest en werkt vandaag als algemeen tandarts met een sterke focus op endodontologie en restauratieve tandheelkunde. Tandenbehoud staat centraal in zijn aanpak: wanneer een tand gered kan worden, doet hij dat.

Hij volgde een jaar durende Esthetic Dentistry Masterclass in Nederland en verdiepte zich verder via bijscholingen in microscoopgeassisteerde endodontologie, implantologie en restauratieve technieken. Voor zijn behandelingen werkt hij met een tandheelkundig microscoop, roterende endodontische systemen, rubber dam, CBCT-beeldvorming en digitaal scannen.

Dr. Kosta Pougia studied dentistry at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest and currently practices as a general dentist with a strong focus on endodontics and restorative dentistry. Tooth preservation is central to his approach: if a tooth can be saved, he saves it.

He completed a one-year Masterclass in Aesthetic Dentistry in the Netherlands and furthered his expertise through continuing education in microscope-assisted endodontics, implantology, and restorative techniques. His treatments utilize a dental microscope, rotary endodontic systems, rubber dam isolation, CBCT imaging, and digital scanning.
