Beschreibung

Orthopaedic surgeon specialised in foot and ankle surgery. I am a consultant at Hôpital Erasme and associate head of department at CHU Brugmann. I manage the full spectrum of foot and ankle pain and injuries, including ankle sprains, chronic ankle instability, Achilles tendon pathologies, hallux valgus and other forefoot deformities, foot and ankle osteoarthritis, and sports-related injuries. A former physician at the SL Benfica football academy (U19), I also hold a PhD in Bioengineering ("From in silico to insight: using computational models to guide the management of Achilles tendon ruptures", Instituto Superior Técnico / University of Lisbon), with an active academic profile and numerous scientific publications.
